Standard Taster Session
Come and have a go! No previous experience is needed, we provide everything you need to give archery a try.
This is a 1-hour session designed to give you a taste of what archery is like.
Fully supervised by one of our coaches or experienced club members, you will be given a full safety briefing on the day.
What a great way to spend some time and find out how much you will love this great inclusive sport.
Enhanced Taster Session
Have you tried one of our taster courses and got the bug? Do you really like archery and would like a bit more time at it?
This enhanced taster session gives you twice as much shooting time to really enjoy yourself.

Full Beginners Course
This course is available for those that want to become a member. Hopefully, you have tried archery and fallen in love with our sport and want to take it up regularly.
This is a 6-week course taking place on Saturdays consisting of 2-hour sessions (please allow up to 3 hours to set up before and pack down after). This will teach the correct foundations required in archery with a heavy focus on safety and technique. During the course, we will also cover information about parts of the bow, different types of bows, and how to purchase your own equipment.

Please note: Courses are open to adults and children aged 10 years and over. Children (10-18 years old) must be accompanied by a responsible adult who stays for the duration of each session.
As the course is feature packed you need to be able to commit to the full course, missing a session would be detrimental and re-arranging sessions is not always possible.
Experienced archers or Range returners
If you have previously been a member of an Archery GB club and would like to Join us, or if you have had a long absence and would like to return to the sport, then get in touch with us with your details and we can get you up and shooting again here at Vale Archers.
